The Iceland-born, Los Angeles-based makeup artist has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood over the course of her 20 year career. From the red carpet, to the big screen, to high-fashion editorials, to commercial advertising, Heba's approach is visionary and versatile and her supreme execution skills make her an asset to any creative collaboration. When she does makeup, it’s not just a simple act of beautification. Heba completes characters.

20 years ago, Heba began her career in music videos, working with REM, Bruce Springsteen, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Sting. She quickly nabbed a position as assistant makeup artist on the seminal TV series Twin Peaks, where Director David Lynch was so taken with her creative finesse that she was his inspiration for the character of “Heba The Snowqueen” in the first season of the show. 

For the last ten years, Heba has helped to create some of the most iconic moments in film. As a frequent collaborator of Quentin Tarantino and Marvel Studios, she headed the makeup departments for Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood, The Hateful Eight, Django UnchainedInglourious Basterds and Kill Bill vol. 1 &  2 as well as Captain Marvel, Spiderman; Homecoming & Ant Man 1 &2 for Marvel. She frequently partners with actors Cate Blanchett and Scarlett Johansson, and her talent is evident in Blanchett’s earthy beauty in The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, and the iron gaze of Johansson in The Avengers.

Heba’s presence is also widely sought in the editorial and advertising realm. She has done makeup for the covers of L’Uomo Vogue, Mademoiselle, Entertainment Weekly, Rolling Stone, Vibe and Shape, as well as major marketing campaigns for Levi’s, Redken, J.Crew, Emporio Armani, Nike, The GAP and Ray-Ban.
